                                          Court Advocacy for
Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence and other crimes

This program provides victims of all crimes in Mississippi County with support and information through all phases of the court process.   The court advocate acts as a liason between the victim, prosecutor, and law enforcement. The court advocate continues to keep victims informed after case disposition with information such as offender incarceration status, crime victims compensation, etc.  Last year over 700 victims of violent crimes were served by this program.  The program is partially funded by The Missouri Department of Public Safety.
